The Story

Transforming a street legal Nissan 200sx S13 into a drift machine.

Everything started back in 2015, with a dream of owning a race car. At that time Niko was a student at the Graz University of Technology, yet he wasted no time and followed his passion. Within a matter of weeks, Niko and a friend of his found the red 200sx s13, took all their money, and embarked on a new drift adventure.

After one training day on the race track in Haskovo (Bulgaria), the S13 took off to an amazing race journey towards Austria. At this time the 200sx was completely original and street legal. After 1400 km, S13 attend its first official drift race in Corinthia (Austria). The car placed 3rd place in the street legal class in the Austria Drift Challenge. After two years of racing and winning the runner-up prize in the street legal class, a decision to rebuild and tune that car was made. SISA was born, the name was derived from the Bulgarian nickname of SILVIA. This led to more exciting drift challenges and championships.

The build

The rebuild process of the car began with a vision of what could be.

The car was fully stock, we decided to change the engine to a better and more powerful one. This decision had to take into account the precise balance needed to maintain the weight distribution 200sx is known for. For that purpose, we fully rebuilt a sr20DET to replace the original engine. For the turbo, Garrett- GTX2867R generation II, was used in combination with Tomei poncams. 550 cc. fuel injectors and 3 in. exhaust system. For the Engine control unit, we used ECU Master EMU Black. Sponsored by DriftShop, our 200sx S13 was fitted with Tein Super Drift suspensions.
